Since the news is fricking depressing this week, positive vibe time! So, here's another question for you:

What is your greatest achievement? Mundane and with powers? What are you proudest of?


For me, mundane starting up the protection service at school for the kids who are picked on. I made some cool friends out of that, and hopefully made some others pay attention to what was going on. I hope it keeps going without me (hint!).

Powers... Still waiting for my Big Damn Hero moment, but Gen X helping out with that major collision a couple of winters ago was pretty awesome. Oh! And fighting that robot-bird guy in New York that time.

I wanted to answer this earlier today, but I really had to think about it. It's so hard to think of what my greatest achievement is .... but you know what, I think I'll go with the safe answer.

Getting my Master's. I mean, hell, that was so hard! I am NOT a regimented student, I procrastinate like nobody's business, but yeah. I got it. I even went the thesis route (WTF) instead of the course route, and yeah. It was tough. But I have it! And no one can take it away from me!

As for my powers.... well, I'll never have complete control over them, but I get 5 seconds before they turn on. It took me years to get to that point, and I'm so happy I can. 5 seconds is a surprisingly long time :)

On the mundane side? I'd have to say that my greatest achievement was probably when I successfully managed to make it all the way through a Bachelor’s of Science for Marine Biology.

I'm glad I realized that fashion design was a better hobby than career. I love being a PA.

Least favorite powers thing is definitely cicadas and bees. :P

Becoming a properly qualified Doctor. I mean, I still have my EM residency to complete but I'm qualified to work as a GP.
