I'm not gonna use the "T-Day" word, since I don't want my sometimes roomie to reappear and drag my ass, but I did want to post something about the part of the upcoming holiday that isn't about appropriating land and native genocide. And that's being thankful for the past year's blessings. I think it's especially important after the past year being total trash, to think about the good things. Grandma used to make us name five things we were thankful for when we spent T-Day at her house, and I thought I'd share a home tradition with y'all.

Here's mine, NOT in any kind of order:

1) Getting into NYU and passing finals.

2) Learning more about my powers, thanks to the mad professors in the basement, Dr. Hank and Dr. Reed. ;)

3) My friends - even with all the crazy that being at the mansion attracts, I'm glad I wound up there since I got to meet a bunch of awesome people.

4) My dad and my grandparents are all okay.

5) People are getting more woke every day. There's a lot of work and a lot of haters, but it's encouraging to see people who never thought about the rights of others before realize they should and standing up for them.
