I only deign to answer this as part of a modern education, but:

Is this a motion picture involving ghost police officers, or are ghosts being hunted?

In my day, we simply banished unwanted spirits.

It's about a group of women who hunt ghosts that are being summoned by a douchebag man-baby type.

Hunt. Ghosts. As in they lack the magical capacity to find the ghosts themselves? Are there no wards for ghosts?

I find this "pop culture" to be imbecilic. My regards for your enlightening me as to the sorry state of post-death maintenance.

I'm the last one to be asking about magic and wards and all that. I didn't even believe magic was a thing until I came here and found out two of my classmates are witches. Or one's a witch and the other is whatever you call a boy-witch-in-training.
