...about the cop that was let off in the mutant killing is bad juju. Someone's taken things into their own hands and it can't end well for mutants if it's one of us*.

*meaning a mutant, not one of the people from the mansion. Hopefully we'd have better sense than to murder someone in cold blood.

Can't say I'm shedding any tears for the jerk but that they killed his wife too is pretty tragic. Sure the guy wasn't on the take or something and pissed off the wrong people?

The facts in a case like this aren't important, the perception is. And that perception is going to tarnish all of us, especially the killing of his innocent wife.

Nah, no tragedy. She knew he was a monster and stayed with him. She deserved the same end he got.

Even if she did know, there's no saying she was free to leave. Abusers tend to keep a pretty tight hold and we know nothing about them.
